Carol Havelka is a passionate and certified Suzuki music educator who loves to share her musical knowledge and skills with students of all ages and abilities. She has a special expertise in teaching beginner and intermediate violin students, helping them to develop their technique, musicality and confidence.
My studio strives to present a friendly and encouraging atmosphere where you can learn to dedicate yourself to musical learning, create a positive and stimulating musical environment for yourself or your child and develop essential technical skills, musical expression, creativity and appreciation of the arts.

Many Suzuki teachers, as I do, request prospective parents and children to observe individual and group lessons before beginning study. When observing consider the following:

There is no charge for observing an ongoing lesson or group class. Observing allows a gentle venue to observe my teaching style, lesson etiquette and expectations, and assist your decision to move forward with formally enrolling in my studio.
Please note that studio availability is limited and, therefore, acceptance is not always guaranteed.
My studio does not base acceptance on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. If I believe that my studio may not best fit a student, I will do my best to recommend other learning options. Please note that all accepted students and/or student families are required to sign a contract, outlining studio policies and student expectations.
