The philosophy of Suzuki Talent Education is based on the belief that music is an essential part of life and that every person has the potential to learn and enjoy music.
Understanding that people enjoy what they do well, a primary goal is to develop an ease of playing with solid technical skills so that students are comfortable with their instrument and thus able to play skillfully, confidently and with musicality.
Located in Frederick/Urbana, Maryland, Ms. Havelka strives to create a positive, inviting, and fun environment where students feel comfortable and eager to be at their lessons.
Specializing in both Suzuki and Traditional violin instruction and teaching methods she has taught hundreds of students, beginner through advanced, in both NYC and the Washington DC metro area.
Student study options are available in a variety of time allotments and venues, including my home studio and online.
Families are encouraged to view their child's lessons as a way to experience quality time for sharing, learning, and enjoying music.
Group classes are a part of a student's involvement in a lesson program. Sharing our music with others provides the pursuit of learning an instrument purpose, joy, pride in one's abilities while building motivation, and its just fun!
