Each membership year includes 40 private lessons scheduled across 11 months (September–July).
Tuition is divided into 12 equal monthly installments (September–August) for convenience and consistency.
👉 Payments are not tied to the number of lessons in any given month. This structure provides predictability for families and stability for the studio, ensuring every student receives the full year’s program.
👉 Families who join mid-year begin payments from their start month through August.
Parents play an essential role in this process:
This parent–teacher–student partnership lies at the heart of the Suzuki philosophy. For families with children ages 4–7, the journey begins with a Parent Orientation Class, designed to equip parents with the tools and confidence to guide practice at home.
Adults bring unique goals to lessons — whether returning after years away or beginning for the first time.
Lessons are tailored to your pace and supported with Alexander Technique principles to release tension, find ease, and reconnect with music in a joyful, sustainable way.

Fill out the short Trial Lesson Interest Form with your child’s info, goals, and availability. (No payment is collected at this stage.)
Complete the Trial Lesson Enrollment Registration Form and pay the $65 fee (non-refundable). This reserves your child’s lesson time and gives me the details I need to prepare for a successful first lesson.
Your child enjoys a full 45-minute private lesson. We’ll explore posture, sound, and technique, while also talking about goals and scheduling to see if the studio is a good fit.
If you or your child is ready to continue, I’ll send you an Enrollment Invitation Email with a link to the Studio Membership Enrollment Form.
Through this form, you’ll set up autopay and agree to studio policies. Once the form is complete, I’ll confirm your child’s lesson time and officially welcome your family into Frederick Talent Education. 🎻
🎻 Ready to make space for meaningful musical growth? I’d love to welcome you to the studio. Let’s get started!
A: Membership tuition is structured around an 85% attendance model, which means the yearly tuition already accounts for up to 6 missed lessons. Student absences are not rescheduled or refunded. Lessons missed by the teacher will always be rescheduled. Families often also receive bonus lessons at no extra cost during the year.
A: To give students the best chance for meaningful progress, the studio requires an initial six-month enrollment period. This ensures consistency and a fair chance to establish solid habits. After this period, families may withdraw by giving a 30-day written notice (with tuition due for that month).
A: Families may join at any time if space allows. Tuition begins in the month you join and continues through August. The monthly installment amount remains the same, but the total cost is lower since you are joining partway through the year.
A: Membership tuition is based on the full year of 40 lessons (Sept–July). Dividing the total into 12 equal payments (Sept–Aug) ensures steady income for the teacher and predictable tuition for families. August is simply the final installment — not an extra fee.
A: Weekly lessons are only part of your child’s musical growth — daily home practice is where skills are reinforced and real progress takes place. For students under 14, a parent attends lessons, takes notes, and helps guide practice at home.
A: For families enrolling young beginners (ages 4–7), the first step includes a Parent Orientation Class. This equips parents to support daily practice, build routines, and create an encouraging environment at home.
At Frederick Talent Education, we aim to provide the highest quality music education to students of all ages and levels. We believe that music is a vital part of life and strive to instill a love for music in all of our students.
