2026 Summer Session - Welcome!

2026 Summer Session (June–August 2026)

The Summer Session provides a focused period of consistent instruction designed to strengthen foundational skills and prepare students for continued study.

Summer lessons are structured, individualized, and well-suited for families ready to establish steady prac

2026 Summer Session Structure

  • 10 Private Lessons scheduled within a 12-week session
  • Session runs June through August
  • Weekly lesson time reserved for the full session
  • Up to two vacation absences built into the schedule
  • Enrollment provides continuity into the Fall Studio Year

Beginner Group Option (If Enrollment Allows)

Small beginner group classes may be offered during the Summer Session if sufficient enrollment allows for appropriate age and readiness groupings.

These small groups provide an opportunity for young beginners to:

  • Develop listening and imitation skills
  • Learn foundational posture and bowing habits
  • Experience music-making alongside peers
  • Build confidence in a supportive, structured setting

Group placement is determined carefully based on:

  • Student age
  • Readiness and attention span
  • Enrollment compatibility with other beginners

Possible age groupings may include:

  • Ages 5–6
  • Ages 6–7
  • Ages 7–8

Group size is intentionally limited to maintain focused instruction and ensure that each student receives careful guidance.

If sufficient enrollment does not support compatible group formation, students will be placed in private instruction.
